The Department of Political Sciences was a part of Law department at the beginning and published many articles and pamphlets over a specific period of time, but then the department found interest in some pure political issues, such as the philosophy of politics, political ideas of Muslim scholars, national ideals and so forth. As a result, the political sciences department became an independent research group, conducting researches concerning politics. The department of political sciences has published 3 books since then
